Out and On: February 18th, 2018
Hello and welcome. This feature now takes the place of the Weekly Watch/Read. We'll be using this to incorporate more than just comic books, but also DVD and Blu-Ray releases, what's on TV, and video games. Without further ado, let's get back to work. Don't forget to vote on the Twisties! Movies Digital Release of Thor: Ragnarok One of the best movies of 2017 is now coming to iTunes this week. If you prefer to watch movies at home for the first time, you will absolutely be pleasantly surprised. If you want a little reference or guide, check out our Thor: Ragnarok review here. Television DC's Legends of Tomorrow Coming back from break last week, we got a visit from John Constantine, which is always a fun ride. This week's episode looks to have a little bit of an infusion with the movie Groundhog Day, which is interesting given this is a time travel show. This show is one of the best superhero shows on TV right now. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Comic Books DC Batman and the Signal #2 This series spins out of Scott Snyder's Batman run and Metal. It's pretty good so far and you should be looking forward to it too. Check out our review of the first issue here. Justice League #39 As this story moves forward, it makes more sense for some of the references made in Doomsday Clock. Hopefully this week, we see some real progress in the story and less filler. Marvel Amazing Spider-Man #796 Building towards the end of Dan Slott's Spidey run, this story sees Norman Osborn merged with the Carnage symbiote and madness takes over. This story looks to be an epic. Avengers #681
The weekly nature of the story makes this feel more like an Avengers epic, with cliffhanger moments so far. The danger is falling into a trap with filler material. #Thor #LegendsofTomorrow #Batman #TheSignal #Spiderman #Avengers
